FAQ's

Q: What is the active ingredient of the Pink Drink?

A: Arginine, the active ingredient of the Pink Drink, is an amino acid, one of the building blocks of the body. Amino acids are vital for growth and repair of body tissue and are used in a host of other functions without which our bodies could not work.

Q: Where do we get Arginine?

A: Our body produces its own Arginine; however, it simply does not produce enough so we need to get more from our diet. Arginine is found naturally in meat, poultry, fish, eggs, dairy and nuts. Very little is found in fruits and vegetables.

Q: Why do I need to take an Arginine supplement?

A: The average person does not get enough in their diet, especially vegetarians. (You would need to consume 12 large steaks to get 6g of Arginine) Because high concentrations of Arginine can overcome the negative risk factors associated with heart disease, Arginine supplementation makes massive sense.

Q: Is Arginine safe to take?

A: Arginine has long been considered by nutritionists to be the least toxic of all the amino acids and its consumption, even in relatively huge quantities, seems to have very few adverse side effects. Clinical trials have repeatedly administered 30 to 50 grams of Arginine safely to patients without reported problems. Numerous body builders have long taken large doses of Arginine with no reported ill effects.

Q: I have heard that Arginine promotes cold sores is this true?

A: Yes Arginine formulations without the appropriate co-factors may stimulate replication of the Herpes Simplex virus.  The Pink Drink contains the essential co-factors designed to avoid the negative herpes side-effects associated with taking L-arginine, but persons with active herpes simplex or brain and ocular herpes should avoid:

Eating foods that contain high levels of L-arginine, such as chocolate, beer, meats, nuts, sesame and other seeds, onions, garlic, grapes, peanut butter, coconut, grape juice, orange juice, grain cereals, and beans. Using L'Arginine.

The herpes virus (herpes virus hominis) typically lays dormant in humans until activated by stress, colds, lack of sleep, and nutritional factors. Plain L-arginine (not formulated with essential co-factors) can increase replication of the virus. L-lysine-rich foods that help combat herpes viruses include whole boiled eggs, yogurt, cheese, fish, and turkey.

DO NOT take L-arginine with L-lysine if you are looking for anti aging benefits. These two aminos compete with each other to cross the blood-brain barrier.

Q: Can I take L'Arginine supplements if I'm pregnant?

A: L'Arginine supllementation has been shown to increase the chances of couples trying to conceive however L-arginine is NOT for use by pregnant or lactating women, males with prostate disorders or high PSA values.

Q: Can children take it?

A: L'Arginine is safe for all ages however persons under the age of 23 and/or persons who have not completed their long-bone growth phase should NOT follow the night time anti aging regime.

Q: What is the recommended daily dosage?

A: The benefits of Arginine supplementation are dose-dependent. Dosage can range from between 3 to 30 grams taken orally every day though 6 grams is a reasonable dosage for a normal healthy adult.

Q: What is the particular power of the Pink Drink over other Arginine supplements?

A: The Pink Drink comes as a powder that becomes a liquid once it is mixed with water. As a liquid it is up to 98% absorbed so there is no wastage. It is a well-known fact that pills are only 10-20% absorbed and capsules only 20-30% absorbed. Often other Arginine supplements contain other amino acids such as Lysine, which interfere with the absorption of the Arginine. In addition, the Pink Drink contains a unique, patented form of Arginine that enhances the effectiveness of the standard Arginine many times.

To get as much Arginine into your body as is contained in one serving of the Pink Drink you would have to take 12 large tablets. Most people would much prefer to drink a half a glass of pleasant-tasting liquid because it is easy to swallow, it is highly absorbable and most importantly 98% of the Arginine is not then flushed down the toilet.

Q: How soon can I expect results?

A: Oral Arginine does not work as quickly as injections of Arginine, but it does appear to work as well. Increasing your oral intake by only 50 to 100 percent of what you’re already receiving from your food can begin to impact your health positively in a few short weeks. Many people have reported immediate changes in their energy levels. It is recommended that you keep a health journal so you can keep track of your changes as they happen.

Note: Detox Symptoms

When you improve your diet or start to take a supplement such as this, your body will start to detoxify. The detoxification process can give you symptoms such as head aches, feeling cold and achy, pains in your legs, spots coming on your skin or diarrhoea. These effects are completely natural and healthy symptoms of elimination and will not last for long.
